Blade Material: The blade is made from high-quality surgical-grade stainless steel  known for its exceptional sharpness, strength, and high resistance to corrosion.

Handle Material: The handle is made from an economical and lightweight plastic (often polystyrene or ABS plastic) that is designed with an ergonomic, often fluted or textured, grip to provide control, comfort, and stability during use.

Sterility and Packaging: Each scalpel is typically individually sealed in a sterile foil or peel pouch (sterilized by Gamma Radiation) to ensure hygiene and prevent cross-contamination.
