Important Testing Note

How It Works

• Preparation – Wash hands with warm water and allow the sealed pouch to reach room temperature.
• Collect Sample – Use the sterile lancet to prick your fingertip.
• Apply Blood – Collect blood with the capillary dropper and dispense into the test cassette.
• Add Buffer – Add 1 drop of buffer solution.
• Wait for Results – Read results after 5 minutes and do not read after 10 minutes.

Understanding Your Result

• Normal Result – Two lines (C + T) indicate normal ferritin levels with no sign of iron deficiency.
• Low Ferritin Result – One line at C only suggests possible iron deficiency and consultation with a doctor is recommended.
• Invalid Result – No control line means the test is invalid and should be repeated with a new test.
