General purpose laboratory centrifuge used to mainly seperate the components of suspensions through low-or-medium-speed centrifugal force. It is typically a low speed (up to 6000rpm) or medium speed ( up to 12000rpm) machine.

For safety, maximum speed to 5000rpm is recommended for fixed angle rotor

When roto F-2415 is used for HCT testing, max speed is 12000rpm (-+10%)
